Over a long weekend in March, 2004, my cousin Rebecca and myself travelled into Mexico to Monterrey, in the province of Nuevo Leon in Mexico. Around 150 miles into Mexico from the Laredo border crossing, it's known primarily as an industrial center, but we found it to be overflowing with interesting activities, sights, sounds, people, and especially food.
